We learn to love and to form friendships that will last a lifetime. We enjoy other people's company and make lasting memories. But eventually due to someone relocating, a disagreement perhaps, or even death, these relationships cease to exist. This does not have to be so with our families. A loving Heavenly Father provided a way for us to be with our families forever and not only till death. Through the power of the priesthood and temple ordinances, we have the blessing of being sealed to our family. We are promised to live with them for all eternity and never having those relationships diminish. We will be united with loved ones who have passed on.
This life is not meant to be easy, but it is meant to be enjoyed. This is why we are given a support system. As families, we are there to pick each other up and to encourage each other to move forward. We are meant to make lasting memories and relationships. We are all one family. We are sons and daughters of God. He is our Eternal Father and desires us to come and live in His presence once again. There we will live in peace and experience true joy. When we can begin to comprehend Heavenly Father's love for us, then at that very moment, this life becomes real to us. We realize how important it is for us to strengthen the bonds within our family and to help one another.
